I absouetly love my food bin. It functions well and it suits my kitchen perfectly, I was looking around for a while for food bins but this is worth the money if you want high quality and something to look great in your kitchen, then this is the one! The only thing I would say is that the measurements of fitting a I.e. 15kg bag isn’t what it says on the product but it’s not an issue

We love it! Made well! Looks nice! Very functional. Love that the cup has it's own storage spot in the top of the lid. Locking mechanism is great... functional and easy at the same time. It's larger than I thought, but am happy that it holds an entire 30-pound bag of dog food.

We really like the look of the container. It does keep the food fresh and the dogs out. Even though it says it holds up to 40 pound bag, it doesn't. We get a 35 pond bag and it doesn't fit all of it in there.

Excellent Quality. This container solved our problem of having a messy dog food bag around or an unsightly plastic container. Looks good in the kitchen and has a handy scoop for dispensing the food. Would highly recommend.

Have purchased two of the x-large size container. One holds dry kibble for our large breed dog. I love that it completely keeps the odor of the kibble within the container and that it allows us to eliminate having an open bag of dog food sitting out in our mud room, which tended to attract little bugs. The second container we got to hold wild bird seed. Be aware... the specifications stated that the containers would hold between 36-44 lbs of dog food, but that is not entirely accurate. Apparently our brand has larger pieces so it did not quite hold 31.1 lbs. We were able to put a 50 lb. bag of wild bird seed in the second container, which filled it completely. So, capacity will differ based on what you put into the container. Otherwise, great product. Love how it looks. Great, responsive Customer Service. To my mind, well worth the cost.

I wanted a container that would store food so that my puppy couldn't get into if left alone. This is perfect. It seals perfectly and keeps the food fresh. The container is lined with a plastic and can be lifted out to clean. I was able to put 2 bags of Costco puppy food into the x-large container. Each bag weighs 20lbs and the kibble is about 0.5 inches X 0.5 inches X 0.3 inches.

I love this product, my dog no longer helps herself to the feeding bucket, it seals tight, therefore, no unwanted bugs, and nice perk having the measuring scoop inside, also helps that it is brushed stainless steel and matches my kitchen appliances.

This is well worth the money, keeps the smell of dog food tightly in canister, attached scoop kept on the lid very handy. I Highly recommend this.

The can is lovely and works great, but if I were you I would buy it at a local retailer and not online from Simple Human. Third time was a charm but two cans before that arrived dented. I only received the undented version after mentioning to customer service that they might want to use a bigger box with more padding so UPS wouldn't dent the third one? Duh? So from the time I first ordered it 12/1/2014 until I received the undented can on 2/3/2014, it took about 2 months with several phone calls to customer service. You've been warned.

I just ordered my 4th one. I have too many animals and these are so perfect for storing their food. Keeps the food fresh, easy access, convenient scoop, animals can't get in them and they even look good. I have several other Simplehuman items and they always impress me. Someone puts a lot of thought into their products. What a pleasant surprise.

I have been using this product for 3 months now. It is perfect for a 30-40 pound bag of dog food. I keep it near my dog's bed/area and she doesn't mess with it at all. The airlock is great and keeps her food fresh, which really improves her appreciation of it near the end of the bag. The scoop is great and the whole system is just exactly what I wanted.

I ordered this to store our puppy's food in, knowing one day it would be a dog hence the reason why we got the x-large. We love it, it arrived quickly and has just been a dream since it arrived here. We keep it stored in our coat closet, and it fits perfectly. The magnetized food scoop that attaches to the lid by magnet is perfect because it means your not searching for something to scoop out the food and it has a measurer on it so it is just perfect! So glad i got this item, love it!!! As i do all my simple human things, one day i hope to get the self opening trash can, but i already have a good simplehumen trash can so really i don't need another i would just like another, hehe.

My 6-year old black lab would stop at nothing to get into her food and eat to her heart's content. After two trips to the ER and a 3-day stay in the animal hospital for bloat-like symptoms, I began searching for something that would keep Addi out of her food. Finally I discovered the simplehuman stainless steel can. It works so well at keeping Addi out and it looks so nice that I'm able to keep it in the kitchen right next to her food and water bowls. Although it's expensive, it's absolutely worth it - it keeps my dog safe and it's much less expensive than a trip to the emergency vet. Thank you simplehuman for making this great product.

I use IAMS and 40 lbs fits perfectly. The only issue I would say I have with the can is it's wheels. It does not roll so well when full and concerned that it could cause some damage to my hardwood floors. I keep this can next to my dog dishes so there is no reason to move the dogfood can now that I gave it a home. The no-fingerprint claim is absolutely true. Great product!

I have this product for a couple of weeks now and the latching mechanism works nice. It is a combination of plastic and metal and I hope it will last a very very long time given the price. The price is the only reason I did not rate it 5 out of 5 starts. For this kind of money it should have been all stainless with a removable nalgene liner.

This pet food can is absolutely beautiful...I purchased two of them for my dogs and they are wonderful. The scoop is included, and the can snaps shut for an air tight seal. The two I have sit side by side and hardly take up any room, and since they are in a small room ,this is great. If you have dogs these are a must...you won't be sorry. No more dog food mess. Love this product!!

This can is great! It keeps my dog out if the food, only wish is that it held more than 40lbs of food. I wish there was an xxxl can for multiple dogs- so that I can dump at lease two bags of food! We all love simplehuman around here. Ps:it's expensive but worth the investment!

This canister is taller and more narrow than I was expecting so I feel as though I have to really reach to get the pet food at the bottom of the container, but I would definitely purchase this item again. After having this item for about a month I can definitely say that the container is fingerprint proof (even after my younger cousin purposely tried to make finger print smudges on the container). It is also obvious that the container keeps our dog food fresher than our previous container, and collects less dirt and debris.

As expected, the x-large pet food container can I purchased is beautiful to look at and complements appliances in my kitchen. But more importantly, it is functional and performs what it is supposed to do. I am very satisfied with this purchase. I have searched hard for a large enough air tight pet food container for a long time. I think Simple Human may the the only manufacturer who makes one that can accommodate at least 35 pounds worth of dry dog food.

I love Simple Human products and this pet food container is no exception. We used to have to store our pet food down the basement in a large plastic garbage can with a lid. Now that we're getting older, it is much nicer to just get the bag of food and put it into this container where we keep our pets food and water dishes, rather than lugging the bag downstairs then having to bring food up to replenish their bowls. Very convenient and very attractive.

I like the x-large size, rolling wheels, stainless finish, and scoop under the hood. However, the latching mechanism is way too easy for our dog to open. He figured it out the first week we got it. In fact, we chose this unit because we figured that he couldn't chew through the stainless like his previous plastic bin, and we thought the latching mechanism would hold. The first solution was to use a carabiner on the latch so that he couldn't flip it open so now he pushes the whole can over so that he can position the carabiner in a way that enables the latch to move about 1-1/2" until he can break loose the lid from the latch. Now we have a screw through the plastic latch with a cordless drill sitting next to the can until we can find a replacement bin that he can't break into! He has been eagerly chewing away the plastic latch so soon there will be nothing to stop him.

Looks great and takes up much smaller space than round plastic bin, plus has a locking top. I can put the entire 30 lb bag and food in together making for zero cleanup.

I purchased this because I wanted something well constructed, stylish, and functional and this product delivered. The latch on the lid is thought out and the magnetic 1 cup scooper inside is an awesome touch. The design is simple and the fingerprint resistant coating finishes the product.

Very nice, seals up just like I wanted. The magnet is a little too strong that holds the scoop in the lid, I'm the only one in my family who can pull it off. The lid doesn't always align when closing for the latch to line up properly. Maybe a small alignment pin on the front of the lid would make it better. Overall I'm very satisfied and will likely be buying another for rabbit food.

Keeps the food fresh for long periods of time. Can buy larger quantities thus saving money. Very well made, looks great if no room to put in closet.

Once again, simplehuman has designed a product that is outstanding! We have four dogs and need to have ready-access to a 30 or 40 lb. bag of dry kibble. It fits easily into the Extra-Large can. The best parts of the design of this can are the magnetically attached scoop which attaches snugly into the lid; the brushed nickel finish which shows no paw or nose prints; and the fact that the scoop is designed to get every single piece of kibble in the bottom of the can as it glides easily across the bottom. When closed the can seals tightly keeping the kibble fresh. GREAT, great product. Thank you, simplehuman folks!

I was happy to get this for my dogs, it holds the whole bag of food, looks nice and is made like a tank.

Looks to much like a garbage can. We just put in a kitchen with hidden garbage, now every one wants to through thr garbage with the doog food. the scoop is to small for an extra large can and falls to easy.

My grandson has two great danes who require huge amounts of dog food which can now be safely stored in the garage away from maurading mice. Have ordered him a second one for his birthday.

I have the XL storage container for dog food and it does a great job of keeping everything fresh and its easy to get to. It looks beautiful and love the scooper inside. It holds 40lbs of dog food but still has space for about 1-2 more pounds. Worth the money.

If you would like a container that looks nice and seals well, this is a great, although expensive, solution. I do appreciate the storage feature for the food scoop. The scoop was missing when my order arrived, but Simplehuman replaced it under the warranty when I called them. My issue...I purchased the container because it rolls and I wanted to be able to move it around, as needed. The first time I moved it, though, it put a large scratch in my new hardwood floors. It rolls wonderfully as long as there is not more than 10 lbs of food in it.

We used to hide our dog food but with this product, we can keep it in our kitchen. The magnetic scoop is very handy plus the dog food stays fresh. Very well designed!

I was so tired of these cheap plastic ones. I purchsed this and it is awesome. Seals the food and a nice latch to keep my boxers out of it absolutely the best purchase for the money. I would recomend this to anyone. Quality pet food is expensive and this air tight storage is the best I have seen and used

I love my petfood storage can. It holds about 36lbs of pedigree. It is beautiful and it fits in my kitchen decor. The can is 1st class durable, sleek design, it matches my simplehuman trash can I purchased. Simplehuman offers a 10yr warrenty, I thought that was awesome. The rollers on the bottom make it easy to move after you have filled it up with dog food. I LOVE IT and would definatley recommend to a friend.

The container is good quality , each to clean by wiping with damp cloth . I wish the unit would hold a few more pounds of dog food.

The pet food storage can is great it stores a measuring cup in the lid,I do not have to go digging for it. It is well made,the inner linning comes out for easy cleaning. Fits in small spaces and the xlg size I purchased holds 36lbs of Purina One. It opens and closes easily with one hand. Wipes clean with a damp cloth. We feed our dog Magilla twice a day and he always knows when it is time to eat even though it makes no noise when opening or closing it. It is very attractive no need to hide it in the closet. I wish I would of known of this product sooner, the quality is great for the price. Too bad Simplehuman products are not available where we live, it is worth driving to a bigger city to purchase it if you are not into purchasing on line. Shipping is free!

This is a replacement bin for our dog's food. She is very tricky and was able to access other containers. This looks nice, keeps the food clean, dry & fresh; and comes with a very handy scoop to ensure we do not over feed her.

I love this pet food storage can!! we recently got a new kitten and had to put the litter box in the laundry room where we used to keep the dog food, once we got the kitty we had no where to store dog food except out in the kitchen so I came across this...I'm not worried about hiding it n the laundry room like the other one, this looks amazing in our kitchen and matches our appliances!! I have 4 large (80lbs-107lbs) American Pit Bull Terriers and I hated that I had 2-4 55lbs bags of dog food on my kitchen floor. This thing is awesome. It looks clean and crisp. Use it twice a day and it's very easy to open. Seems very strong, love the air tight-ness and I love the ten year warranty. Doesn't roll backwards very well, but that maybe my carpet.

I have stainless steel appliances in the kitchen with black trim. This was the perfect complement to all of those. I have it under the granite countertop and, because of the wheels, I can slide it in and out with ease. The scoop with the magnet to keep it in place just adds to the convenience of this product. I'm very pleased.

I think it's great but I wish the wheels were a tad larger. I keep the can in the closet and roll it out every morning and evening when I feed my dog. Otherwise i think it's durable and a perfect size. Other than the wheels, I would have given it five stars. And I plan to buy another one for my house in the country. It looks really nice too.

Now my doggies have fresh food all the time. The food on the bottom is just as fresh as when I first opened the bag. The pet food can is well made and very strudy. Of coarse, stainless is always a great look.

This is an airtight, attractive, simple device that FITS my space.
